The combination of kojic acid and vitamin C is indicated for the skin lightening of age spots, freckles and hyperpigmentation. Kojic acid and vitamin C can fade dark skin surface and evens skin care. Kojic acid helps in even toning of skin, age spots, marks of pregnancy and other common skin discoloration issues of face and body.

Vitamin C and kojic acid are applied on the darker skin. Both the contents work simultaneously to improve the tone and texture of skin.Kojic acid acts on melanocytes in skin cells and interfere to the melanin synthesis. The initial source of manufacturing the pigment melanin is enzyme tyrosinase which gets prevented by this drug combination.


The dosage and duration of kojic acid + vitamin C treatment should be prescribed by physician.

How to use:

The product should be applied before going to bed. The face and neck should be cleaned smoothly before using the product. The skin is dried out completely. A thin layer of cream on the face is used to gently cover up the area. The hands should be washed properly after applying the cream. Any part of medicine should be avoided to get in eyes and mouth. If any kind of itchiness or inflammation is observed on the skin, it should be consulted with the doctor immediately.


This medication is used as an antifungal and antibacterial activity. It has an anti-ageing activity as well because it eats up the free radicals that damage the skin and cause ageing effect.


  • Kojic acid+ vitamins C are contraindicated in individuals who are allergic to synthetic cosmetics and other beauty cream formulations. If any skin reactions found, the use is discontinued and contact to the nearest physician.
  • This combination should be avoided in pregnant woman.
  • This combination should be avoided in lactating woman and children as well.
  • The cream should not be applied on the injured or burnt skin.

Side effects:

Overdosing should not be done.

Missed does:

The missed dose should be taken as soon as get remember. But if it has been the time of next dose, the missed dose is skipped and the regular dosing schedule is followed.

Storage conditions:

The cream should be kept at room temperature at 25 to 300C. It should be kept away from flame and humidity. It should be kept in closely tight container.
